ABOUT ASTRO The first ASTRO group was set up in Sydney to develop a vehicle that could run on water. Two ASTRO groups are
active in Australia. ASTRO South Australia and our
sister organistion ASTRO Victoria
ASTRO stands for Alternative Science & Technology Research Organisation. These groups were set up to provide a focal point for experimenters to share information and resources, particularly in the area of free energy, magnet motors, hydrogen cars, etc, something which had not been catered for in any other groups until then. There are many people in ASTRO and "around" ASTRO who have an interest in things technical and in making them. ASTRO has expanded it's area of interest to include machines and devices that relate to the health and quasi-health area. At all meetings conversation between attendees is fostered. Information exchange is the key and could make the difference in getting something to work. |

South Australian Pic Micro Controllers Users Group
Mission statement To foster and promote the use of micro controllers while bringing together people with different skills and ideas. To give beginners an environment to overcome the many pitfalls that are associated with learning this diverse field of electronics. The group is a place for both the professional and hobbyist to share resources and expertise on many subjects related to hardware and software. Although the main focus of the group is the pic micro controller, there is always common ground between different devices in both programming and hardware and we welcome alternatives. |
